Assessment of Hypnosis Knowledge Among Dentists: A Cross-Sectional Study

Objective:  To assess the attitudes, experiences, training levels, and interest in future education regarding use of hypnosis by dentists working Dental Clinic Monastir, Tunisia .  Material Methods:  A cross-sectional study was conducted among 330 Monastir November 2019. Students, internship, residents, professors were randomly selected. This a survey with structured questionnaire mailed to all dentists. The pre-fabricated, simple, close-ended. Data analyzed using SPSS 24.0 statistical software.  Results: A total 202 respond this survey. 54% participants interns female predominance (66.5%). Findings revealed that beliefs toward sample generally positive. Using visual analogue scale, reported having moderate acknowledge (3.4). 60% our consider is useful dentistry and, more particularly, pediatric dentistry. 78.2% respondents want follow courses Conclusion:  Our highlights weak knowledge reveals certain misconceptions about procedure. More efforts are required better educate hypnosis's benefits their practice.
